I have never been one for elaborate shopping. As a matter of fact, I’ve been very frugal all of my life. I shop from clearance racks, use coupons, etc… I guess this is why I am having a hard time with this topic. My financial infidelity was about opening a credit card (in spouses name who at the time was deployed in the military) to pay those bills (daycare for 3-kids, food, gas, unexpected car repairs, clothes/shoes for growing kids, etc..) that weren’t able to be paid with what financial means we had coming in. Yes..I know it was morally wrong and today considered identity theft. However, if put in that type of financial situation again, I probably would do it again, but the only difference is that I would have told him right away.

Great point there can be extenuating circumstances which cause us to make tough decisions. But even in those times, we have to be open about our money. Great comments
