Awesome dialogue!! This is so important for the foundation of family that God has ordained. In addition, wives also are to respect and encourage their husbands in the faith as well. This sets the tone for them to lead. I had to learn what true submission was. I didn’t like the wife I was to my husband years back, tearing him down with my words making him feel less than. But I began to feel convicted by the Spirit. I went to my pastors wife who explained to me and mentored me to first look at my own ways not his flaws, repent and ask God to change me in the areas were I was weak. I also realized that I was not speaking unkindly to my husband but I was to picture Christ standing in my husbands place, making me see that I was speaking unkindly to Christ. SO I am extremely greatly for the counsel that was given to me. I had to be responsible for my actions not my husband. Its Gods job to change him never me. I know now I always submit to my Higher Authority and through that all things will follow. Rebellion, manipulation, demeaning, and judging my husband is not of God and I should always remember not to allow that in my heart and home.
