Yes, I lost the additional pounds to make it a total of 50 pounds weight loss to date and I am maintaining it by doing “Insanity”. This workout is no joke, it is not for the faint at heart, it will definitely work you to the core and I have made up my mind that being healthy and fit is a priority that I just have to keep working on until I get it just right. I said all of this to say that I will always be a work in progress because He is constantly working in, on, and through me on this life journey.
I love the fact that I know I am not perfect but my Father in heaven still keeps working on me in order to get me where He needs me to be in order to do the work He wants me to do for Him. I am amazed by the constant changes I am making in regard to listening to His voice and the obedience keeps getting me closer and closer to Him. I am also ecstatic that He still wants to have a relationship with me despite the fact that I have my many flaws. He loves each and every one of us with an intensity that is second to none and there is nothing, absolutely nothing we can do to prepare us for the unconditional love He has for us.
The road is not an easy one and as He states in Deuteronomy 7:9, (NIV), “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.” Isn’t it a beautiful thing to know that there is someone who actually cares about us more than we care for and about ourselves? I am eternally grateful to Him for all the love He pours out on me on a daily basis, rather, on a moment by moment basis when I know I am so undeserving and cannot begin to love Him the same way in return.
Be thankful always and know that His love, yes, His love endures forever!
